Job Description:
This position provides editorial support to carry out policy, style, and quality of content for the company’s Web site and other online media. Helps maintain quality of information on the Web site, writing content, editing content supplied by others, and ensuring that the content is accurate, timely, and relevant to the changing needs of the company. Helps carry out and maintain new and existing online projects.
Experience Required
-A minimum of 3-4 years experience writing and editing for a Web site, magazine, newsletter, or newspaper using content-management systems and/or other Web editing software.
Education and Certifications
-A bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Advanced writing and editing skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize web-based content management system on a daily basis.
• Work with social media specialist to spread site awareness across several social media channels.
• Solid understanding of social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, etc).
• Copywriting for the web, producing informative and engaging content
• SEO knowledge is a must, know how to use Google Adword external tool, Google Insights Tool.
• Advanced general computing skills and project-management skills
Essential Functions:
-Directed by the Online Marketing, lead, create, review, edit, and publish new or changed Web content using a CMS. Work with the contributing staff member(s) to ensure that the content is accurate, readable, and in agreement with editorial and graphical style guidelines and published within established deadlines.

Interaction inside the organization:
This position is part the Marketing team and the candidate will work closely with the eMarketing department and client’s relation team to create website content and campaigns/events content.
