Sales Executive - Training Services, Egypt

MINDPEDIA, the premier training services provider is currently seeking to hire a dynamic Sales Executive, to sell the company training services and public courses. As such, you have a very important part to play in the company success. Areas you're likely to be involved in include public seminars, workshops and courses sales and promotions. In-House corporate training sales. Promote, and sell various training services to educational institutions (universities and schools).

Your typical activities will  likely to include:
  • Acquire new customers by selling them MINDPEDIA training services and public courses seats.
  • Generate new leads on both levels; individuals and businesses.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and E-Mails.
  • Visiting potential customers for new business.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations and proposals.
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
  • Representing MINDPEDIA at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with MINDPEDIA management team.
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
  • Liaising with training administrators  to check on the progress of existing orders.
  • You may also be involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities.
  • Recording sales and order information.
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.

Hours and Environment:

Your working hours will vary according to the load and type of tasks. Generally, though, they will be quite long, with the pressure to hit targets.

Your conditions can also vary widely according to the field you're in. You could well be working from home, on the go, during vacations;  transmitting orders, reports and sales analyses to the administration office. If you travel widely, within Egypt or occasionally abroad if required, you could be using your hotel room as a base. In view of all the travel you're likely to do, it's generally important to have a driving license.

To be a sales executive you'll need to have:
  • Ready to work in a start-up; small company.
  • Self initiator to build on successes.
  • The ability and desire to sell.
  • Enjoy good connections and client base.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Have at least 1 year of sales in training services field.
  • A confident and determined approach.
  • Resilience, and the ability to cope with rejection.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The capacity to flourish in a competitive and challenging environment.
  • Able to work in limited resources environment.
  • Fluency in both (English & Arabic).
