Job Purpose

The Retail Sales Manager directly manages a portfolio of 3-5 retail partners to maximize revenue and profit and also allow the organization to meet growth and revenue goals for the next 3-5 years. Drives sales performance and optimizes marketing excellence through strong understanding of local market dynamics and broader knowledge of the business.

Key Requirements
• Participate and contribute to sales strategy and overall plan on how to prepare, execute as well as follow up all sales and marketing activities, programs and campaigns of Microsoft products in retail: Mouse, Keyboards, Webcams, Xbox, Kinect, Windows & Office software.
• Maximize market share ; customer and partner satisfaction within retail business
• Negotiate and agree commercial terms with the selected, local retailers to ensure our revenue and profit targets are achieved. Build a deep, broad partnership with these key partners at a tactical and strategic level.
• Be the best partner and think like a merchant.
• Drive operational excellence, efficient supply and excellent execution in store.
• Drive and support an end-to-end Microsoft consumer strategy to ensure our marketing and sales initiatives are aligned and leveraged. Ultimately allowing our customers to get the best visibility and ease of purchase of Microsoft consumer products through whichever channel they choose.
• Attainment of revenue goals.
Profile
• 8+ years retail sales experience preferably in IT Industry or FMCG
• Bachelor’s degree
• Sales and partner account management experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent collaboration and team building skills
• Strong prioritization and negotiation skills
• Strong process orientation coupled with an ability to work with virtual teams
• Budget and project management experience.
• Has passionate attitude for sales, technology and partner as an enabler for a company’s growth.
• Is experienced in building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers.
• Is creative, innovative; is often seen as visionary in his/her approach.
