Our client is a leading organisation who is committed to being the leader in their very unique field. This world class institution is now seeking an experienced Development Manger to join their team.
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement a fund raising strategy for the organisation. Your main responsibilities include identifying potential individual and corporate donors as well as researching and assessing development opportunities for the company. You will be responsible for producing fund raising and development materials, and presentations as well as coordinating fund raising and development events. Working closely with other departments within the organisation, you will be assessing project opportunities and spearheading all of their fund raising activities.
Suitable candidates will have prior experience in fund raising and institutional development work. Local experience within the UAE is essential and you will have had previous experience in a similar development / fund raising role. Strong writing and editing skills are essential, as are strong presentation skills. You will be comfortable in dealing with business heads, VIPs and company executives as you will be leading fund raising events and meetings. Degree qualifications are essential and ideally you will have a MBA. Previous experience in a nonprofit organisation would be an advantage. Salary is commensurate with experience.
